It is time my dear fangers (word I just made up)! Halloween is my favorite holiday, obviously. At the beginning of October I try to watch as many horror movies as I can. Not all of them vampire movies either, I like to mix it up with new and older movies.
This year I watched:
Jennifer’s Body – ridiculously funny and very self aware – loved it
Fright Night – was on my fall wishlist, will write a full review soon….
Midsommar – why did I wait to see this movie?? Freaking loved it to bits
Overlord – Nazis and zombies, need I say more? It was ok, not my fave though
The Haunting of Bly Manor – technically a tv series, and sadly not as good as the first season 😦
I’m one of those people who believe that Halloween is a season and not just one day. This month I tried to keep the spooky spirit alive by carving pumpkins, baking spooky treats, and drinking lots of apple cider (with or without booze *wink*). It’s nice to the holiday to focus on and take my mind off everyday troubles.
I look forward to working on this blog and sharing TONS of great vampire movies for you to watch. Hope you have a happy and safe Halloween my friends, and as always watch your neck……
